American youth adore their sports stars. They have already many such idols from the days of the baseball players Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson till the stars of nowadays: the football player Peyton Manning and the baseball player Derek Jeter. Youth observe and repeat their each move.
Is it safe to idolize sports stars of today? It can be risky. Today sports heroes obtain millions of dollars due to intake of steroids. Although the NFL and the MLB fight against usage of controlled substances, the war seems to lack success. Usage of steroids like cancer destructs sports. Although American youth are educated about severe unwanted symptoms of these medications, the results are not satisfactory.
It is said that youth are suppressed to take steroids. They try to meet the required criteria of college admission; they adore current professional sportspersons. The all these factors promote taking steroids.
Of course, all parents desire their children to succeed. If children go info sports, their parents desire them to compete successfully and to continue to play professionally. Children realize that it is not easy to do it. Which are the consequences? The pressure impacts greatly on American youth. Over 10 % of teenagers feel that they have to cheat in order to be successful. College admission levels have been reduced because of budget cuts. The Recovery Place claims that it may cause the situation, when high school students will look for other methods to have ability to stand out among crowds. Doping may seem for teenagers to be the best alternative way.
American youth observe that many professional sportspersons have succeeded differently. Some of them did it due to their talents and hard trainings; others used steroids and other related preparations. If American youth act like those who dope, which will be the results?
Prolonged administration of steroids can lead to addiction to these products. Moreover, consumers of steroids can suffer from such unwanted effects, as liver disorders, cancer, high blood pressure, icterus, kidney disorders and bad cholesterol. These unwanted reactions are considered to be severe; they may be life-threatening.
Of course, parents don’t want to see their children with destroyed health. They want their children to reach goals due to devotion to sports and hard trainings. But it is difficult to do it because many others cheat, using steroids. Now it is time to do everything to push out steroids. These medicines shouldn’t disturb to reach our goals.

It is created a wrong perception that the steroid era for baseball is over
There is a topic that induces heated discussions. Especially baseball fans are excited, if they hear about steroids and their impact on this sport. Thus, if you want to cause heated discussions, you only have to notice that certain baseball stars win due to administration of steroids.
Various individuals have different opinions, when it comes to the topic about steroids. Sometimes it is difficult to comprehend why certain individuals that are involved in baseball apply steroids. Do they play baseball only for money? Are they so blinded by money and other awards that they do everything for these perspectives? Of course, the most respected baseball players are those that don’t dope and win due to natural talents. Those are worth of respect, honor and awards who are not lured to administrate forbidden medications for achievement of their goals.
It is believed that users of steroids must not be elected for the Hall of Fame. This aspect represents attempt to avoid shame related to the steroid era. You may observe efforts to leave all unpleasant effects in past and to move further. But do these efforts to blame users of steroids mean that the steroid era is over? In fact, a wrong impression is created here. The steroid era is not over. Those that believe that condemnation of steroid users mean that baseball is drug-free are mistaken.
Everyone knows that numerous baseball players have used anabolic steroids and other related substances. Furthermore, nobody doubts that nowadays there are such players of baseball that continue to administrate prohibited preparations. Many individuals discuss whether a player with average skills can become great due to intake of forbidden medications. Certain individuals confirm that without appropriate talents steroids do not profit. Talents must present. Others do not agree with this statement. They claim that steroids have ability to increase performance whatever talent a person has.
But the problem is that we condemn players who dope alone. But not only athletes must be condemned for the steroid era. Everybody knows what happens actually during the steroid era.
It is unlikely that the steroid era is behind us. Baseball hasn’t yet past the dark clouds. Steroid use is still deeply in the heart of baseball. Decisive efforts must present to be convinced that doping doesn’t destroy baseball anymore.

Doping should be nipped in the bud
The Major League Baseball put efforts to stop using steroids. It wants to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be capable to achieve the big show. One of the locations where the efforts of the MLB are applied and clearly seen is the Dominican Republic.
Those who live in the Dominican Republic desire to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. So, the whole family drives. Unluckily, numerous individuals are inclined to take steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs to achieve their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country where a lot of persons take steroids and other products that increase performance. That’s why a sportsperson from this location is asked whether he has applied steroids or other related medications. Undoubtedly, this individual claims that he has never doped because tests are performed and anybody is afraid to be caught administrating any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests athletes from the Dominican Republic. So, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur athletes from this location tested positive. The MLB intends to tests Dominicans and to punish those that dope.
It is said that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is significantly higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB puts significant efforts to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are taught about risks for their health connected with steroids. They are taught about unwanted results that may be caused by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a significant problem in this situation. The average wage is approximately 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To get a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a true achievement for any athlete from this Republic. That’s why athletes from the Dominican Republic are especially inclined to dope for such perspectives. They desire to get a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They want to obtain it for well-being of their families and for improvement of their lives in future. Obtaining a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal life, from travelling by bus to driving own car.
Actually, doping is not a problem just in that is limited within the Dominican Republic. It is a trouble that corrupts the whole world. No one sportsperson can be sure whether he competes against an individual that has natural skills and talents or against an individual that takes steroids and other related preparations. That’s why it is necessary to nip intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth must be educated about problems related to doping not only in the Dominican Republic or only in the U. S. but everywhere.

Bright future of baseball
The Major League Baseball survived several baffling periods of time. It experienced 2 situations which are claimed to be 2 world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Today the MLB experiences steroid era. It is widely believed that it will have capability to survive this period as well. There was a case that had a significant influence on baseball as well. It was the case related to Barry Bonds.
Undoubtedly, Barry Bonds was not the only baseball player that used performance-enhancing drugs. Furthermore, he is not the last of them. Many baseball players have administrated forbidden preparations to promote performance. A lot of players of baseball have obtained praise and millions of dollars due to usage of banned preparations.
The sums of money which can be obtained justify the dangers connected with intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players who take banned products don’t worry so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about obtaining of money. Such individuals are responsible for the influence that is spread upon fans that try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot discussions about the steroid era in baseball.
Nobody doubts that any baseball player who administrates steroids destroys his honor. It is made only because of money. Such person trades own honor only for getting money.
Nonetheless, it is believed that future of baseball is light. A lot of baseball players possess talents and proper skills; they train hardly and devote themselves completely to this sport. They are honest persons. They keep their image. Such persons love baseball truthfully. They don’t care only about money. Such baseball players are motivated by actual love to baseball.
Generally, the MLB is against steroids. But unluckily, there are individuals in every sport that take unfair advantage due to administration of steroids.
Our hope is bright: we believe that the day comes, when we’ll see sportspersons that compete not because of intake of steroids and other related medications but due to natural talents, skills and hard workouts.

Those that use steroids take unfair advantages during competitions
The topic connected with steroids appears everywhere. It is widely debated by numerous people. Every day many articles report about these medications. You come across news that report about people that administrate steroids. You come across situations related to those who are caught selling steroids and sentenced to probation or prison. Although steroids are recommended for numerous patients to treat them from certain diseases, administration of these preparations for increase of performance is more widely spread. It seems that it corrupts the whole world.
People are controlled by money. If they can earn money due to distribution or intake of anabolic steroids, they do it. They are not stopped by the laws. They take and distribute these drugs, although they are claimed to be illicit in some countries. Numerous individuals violate steroid laws because they may obtain money, selling and/or using steroids.
Undoubtedly, you have read numerous articles about wrestlers that have used forbidden preparations for many years. Some of consumers died because of sudden attacks, being young. But nobody wants to admit that fatal cases happen because steroids. Numerous persons deny links between dangerous medical conditions and usage of steroids.
The Major League Baseball wants to escape from steroid era. We hope that the time comes, when baseball will be played without drugs and winners will be decided due to natural talent and skills of players but not due to performance-enhancing drugs.
It is impossible to be sure that you realize how wide spread intake of prohibited drugs is in professional and non-professional sports. Administration of steroids by competitive sportspeople is cheating. If athletes take products which increase performance, they lie. They take unfair advantage during competitions.
Any consumer of steroids who goes info sports should define whether he/she has talent to be involved in sports. If he/she is not able to compete, he/she should have another job. Each individual must do the job he/she really is able to do. So, if you can’t play football, you must choose another job.
There is a hope that administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs will be pushed out of sports. It may be that it will be soon in the future. Who knows?

Unfair decision of the judge connected with the case of Rivers Ashley
The laws which criminalize administration of anabolic steroids have appeared due to certain conditions. They turned out to be responses to widespread usage of steroids in competitive sports. Anti-Doping Agencies thought that ban of steroids would keep professional sportspeople far from intake of illegal medications. But criminalization of steroids influenced on administration of steroids by competitive sportspersons insignificantly.
The steroid laws commonly don’t prosecute sportspersons that take illegal medicines. On the contrary, non-competitive sportspersons and recreational bodybuilders are usually targets of the steroid laws. They suffer due to results of breaking these laws.
This is not just one’s point of view. This is reality. Let realize: who is sentenced to imprisonment because of distributing steroids? For example, Ashley Dewayne Rivers of Alabama was sentenced to 5 months in jail because he had sold about $2000 worth of steroids to a health care provider. In fact, this person wasn’t the target of a steroid investigation. He only turned out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The estranged wife of this doctor talked to federal investigators that her husband was implicated in operations of black steroid market. So, the statement of this lady caused the situation, when the doctor was investigated.
Actually, Ashley Rivers was a supplier of steroids for short period of time. He sold these medicines to his friends. James Robinson, the defense attorney for Ashley Rivers, claimed that his client had recognized his guilty totally and taken the whole responsibility for his illegal operations. The attorney confirmed that Rivers was a moral individual. However he violated the steroid laws, he recognized the dangers and admitted to his guilty.
The attorney James Robinson asked the judge to sentence his client just to probation. Rivers cared about his physically impaired wife, 2 adopted children and 3 children of his disabled brother. Furthermore, this person sacrificed about 40, 000 dollars for persons that lost their homes due to tornadoes. It would be better, if this man were sentenced to probation. He would continue to work for his family and other individuals.
But Christopher Brinson, the Assistant U. S. Attorney, rejected the request of James Robinson. He stated that this person committed a serious crime and he should serve time in prison. However the judge was inclined to agree with the request of the defense attorney James Robinson at the beginning, finally he decided to agree with the Assistant U.S. Attorney and sentenced Rivers to 5 months in prison.
You can recognize that steroid laws have just a slight influence on professional sportspersons.

While Jose Canseco tried to restore his natural testosterone production, he got several problems with laws. He was detained for about 9 hours by the San Diego Immigration and Customs Enforcement after he had been caught possessing a vial of HCG at the international border. His house was raided by law enforcement officers but no any steroids were discovered.
However Jose Canseco will never escape from his steroid past, he put efforts to continue playing professional baseball.

Is it hard for a fighter to obtain a TUE from NSAC?
Several mixed martial artists have publicly admitted that they take anabolic steroids as a part of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) which has been prescribed by doctors. The executive director of the Nevada State Athletic commission (NSAC) Keith Kizer believes that this factor has created an impression among numerous individuals that steroid exemptions are given to permit MMA fighters to use the steroid testosterone.
During an interview with Ben Fowlkes of MMA Fighting Keith Kizer noted that certain individuals believed that any fighter could obtain exemptions for usage of testosterone. He noticed that he couldn’t say it about other states but he described the situation in Nevada. According to Kizer, it is 50/50 whether a request for steroid exemption will be approved.
TRT is a treatment which is required for adult males that suffer from hypogonadism (low levels of testosterone). If sportspersons correspond to the medical criteria, they may be allowed to use steroids.
The NSAC has strict requirements for those who try to obtain a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for administration of steroids. An athlete must have the document that manifests that blood levels of testosterone are low. But if a fighter has reduced testosterone level, it is not sufficient to get a TUE. Treating doctors should identify reasons and medical conditions. The details linked with testosterone replacement therapy must be identified by physicians too. Each detail must display that certain sportsperson must take testosterone for medical purposes and administration of steroids will not give unfair advantage to the fighter.
Several top athletes of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have administrated steroids for TRT. Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt, Dennis Hallman and Dan Henderson belong to the starts of the UFC that administrate steroids for clinical purposes.
Keith Kizer proclaims that ban of steroids makes MMA safer. He notices that if a fighter takes steroids, he/she takes unfair advantage as if it is used knuckles that are hidden inside gloves. So, this is not only lying. This situation is connected with risks for life. If you say to a fighter that you can put knuckles in the gloves so, as no one will observe it, this person will say you not to bother him. But it is strangely that such fighter takes steroids.
It goes without saying that intake of steroids has possible risks to increase the harm which can be caused in MMA.

A father cooperated with a trainer from Florida, injecting his son with steroids
James Gahan injected Corey Gahan, his teenage son of 13 years old, with anabolic steroids. The father wanted him to become an Olympic athlete.
This boy is an inline skating champion at the national level. Corey Gahan won the 2004 Inline Speed Skating Nationals. He also obtained the 2nd place at the 2005 National Indoor Speed Skating Championship.
Corey’s father pleaded guilty in possessing and injecting steroids to his young son. This person collaborated with a trainer from Florida in order to provide the young athlete with following drugs: testosterone, Deca Durabolin, HGH and HCG. James Gahan was arrested in May, 2004. As a result of his illegal actions, he was sentenced to 6-year imprisonment.
Since he had already served his time in a prison, he was released. James Gahan started to claim that his attitude to steroids and other controlled substances had been changed completely. James Gahan talked to high school athletes about risks connected with usage of steroids. It was a part of his community service to which James Gahan had been sentenced by the court.
James Gahan said nothing about influence of steroids on the life and health of his 13-year old son. This person noted only about own experiences with these medicines. This person noticed that if anyone wanted to see unwanted results of anabolic steroids, he might manifest them because he used these drugs. James Gahan noticed that he administrated 45 tablets per day and his insides had eroded.
Actually, James Gahan didn’t explain what he meant, confirming that his insides had eroded because of steroids. He said nothing about his illness which required 45 pills daily!
James Gahan said about his son that he had known everything they had done. But he added that since he was the father, he took the total responsibility upon himself. But he concluded that it would be better for his son to acknowledge that he had cheated.
But Corey doesn’t desire to talk to his father who has injected him with steroids. Earlier he has claimed that his father has never been sorry for injecting him with steroids; he has been sorry because he has been caught doing it.

The wrestler Colin Daynes has been banned for 2 years
The Greco-Roman wrestler Colin Daynes wanted to represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympics. Unluckily, his dreams will not be real. Intake of controlled substances became a reason for it. Colin Daynes was caught taking steroids, diuretics and a selective estrogen receptor modulator.
Earlier Colin Daynes won the 74 kg division at the Canadian Wrestling Qualification Trials.
The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports proclaimed that Colin Daynes had tested positive for such banned medications, as boldenone, drostanolone, furosemide and tamoxifen. Boldenone and drostanolone are anabolic steroids which are better known under their trade names: Equipose and Masteron. When it comes to Tamoxifen, it is known as Nolvadex. This medicine is usually administrated in combinations with some others in order to reduce fluid retention. Furosemide or Lasix belongs to the class of diuretics. Wrestlers administrate this medicine as well as other diuretics to lose body weight in order to correspond to requirements of certain weight classes.
Colin Daynes admitted that he had used anabolic steroids and other banned drugs intentionally. He noted that he had administrated these medicines to get recovery from a partially-torn bicep and an elbow injury. But he added that he hadn’t known that these drugs were forbidden by the WADA. Daynes blamed his prescriber for this factor. He said that he had consulted a naturopathic physician that recommended him using these drugs. Colin Daynes noticed that if he had known that the preparations were prohibited, he would not have competed.
The Greco-Roman wrestler represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. After he won the national trials in 2008 he desired to participate in the Beijing Olympics. But he didn’t participate in this Olympics because he couldn’t qualify internationally. Recently this person won the Canadian Wrestling Qualifying Trials in December, 2011, and was scheduled to secure his allowance for the 2012 London Olympics through the competition at the Pan American Wrestling Championship.
But due to intake of prohibited medications this wrestler has been sentenced to 2-year ban. It means that he is not allowed to compete till December 2012, when his athletic career ends too.
Colin Daynes confirmed that he had represented the native country proudly. He concluded that people could judge him, if they wanted to do it after the successful career of 25 years and everything he had done.

The 2-year investigation related to Lance Armstrong’s case is closed
The case against Lance Armstrong related to doping is announced to be closed. This athlete remains to be considered a champion that won at the Tour de France 7 times.
It is known that federal prosecutors tried to define whether this cyclist and his teammates have joined a doping program. The length of the investigation has been approximately 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has used controlled substances. The accusations against this person threatened not only to his athletic career but also to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that this cyclist took steroids were in vain.
Armstrong noticed that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office made a decision to close the investigation. He confirmed that it was a right decision. Armstrong claimed that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
Andre Birote, an attorney announced during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation related to the case of Lance Armstrong. This attorney didn’t note about any reason of this decision. But he just said that previous similar investigations were also closed.
For example, the investigation linked with Barry Bonds was claimed to be less-than-successful. Prosecutors were not able to prove that this athlete had lied about usage of steroids. As for the case related to Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge proclaimed about previous mistrial.
Investigators believed that a doping program was formed by Armstrong’s team. They tried to determine whether it was so as they believed. Authorities investigated whether Lance Armstrong encouraged or induced doping.
In fact, prosecutors tried to define whether Lance Armstrong and his team broke federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Lance Armstrong was not forced to present before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were charged with lying under oath.
The former Armstrong’s teammate Frank and her wife Betsy Andreu accused Armstrong in usage of forbidden preparations. They noticed that they were shocked by the decision to close the case. They concluded that such situations happened due to possessing money and corruption.

Anabolic steroids are not responsible for the brain cancer of Lyle Alzado
Norm Fost, the professor of Wisconsin’s University, destroys certain common misconceptions related to anabolic steroids. However several experts note about dangerous and even life-threatening unwanted reactions of anabolic steroids, Dr. Fost denies these statements, claiming that they don’t have any scientific basis.
But statements of this doctor are not so often quoted by media as statements about severe negative results of steroids. So, the message of Norm Fost that steroids aren’t so dangerous, as it is believed, is noticed once for every 500-time conclusion that steroids represent a real evil.
Furthermore, editors usually create a wrong perception among readers, writing the quotes of this expert incorrectly. For example, a headline of a radio talk sounds following: “UW-Madison doctor: steroids aren’t harmful at all”. The headline is wrong. It is misleading. Norm Fost has never stated that steroids were not harmful at all. It is evident that these drugs can cause different negative results. Norm doesn’t deny risks of occurring negative effects. Actually, this expert says some other things. He notes that probable risks of steroids are essentially exaggerated. This expert denies the statement that steroids lead to the rare form of brain cancer. According to certain sources, this caused the death of Lyle Alzado, a player of the NFL. Dr. Fost notes that there is no any link between the death of this player and steroids.
Alzado blamed his prolonged steroid abuse for the primary brain lymphoma that finally led to his death. Assertion of this player was the only evidence which supported the connection between his administration of steroids and the brain cancer.
But a question appears here. Why did Alzado make public his steroid use, demonizing anabolic steroids for his illness? Couldn’t you find this aspect strange?
In fact, it was said that AIDS had suppressed his immune system and induced destroying his body by the primary brain lymphoma.
A pathologist noticed that Lyle Alzado had had T-cell lymphoma which was connected with AIDS. According to Dr. Thomas DeLoughery, Alzado was afraid that the public would know that he died from AIDS because of the cancer.
Pathologists at OHSU reported that Lyle Alzado had had B-cell lymphoma which was not connected with HIV or AIDS.
The physician DeLoughery explained the case. He said that T-cells of this person were inflamed but the malignant cells were B-cells.
While specialists disputed about AIDS and the type of cancer that Lyle Alzado had, nobody of them confirmed about links between his brain lymphoma and intake of steroids.

Anna Watson didn’t agree to destroy her “temple” through steroid use
Anna Watson, an university cheerleader of Georgia, said that she was pressured to take steroids to obtain a fitness modeling contract. Her modeling agent recommended her to use Anavar to get needed 50 pounds of muscles. Anna Watson was tempted but finally she refused this recommendation. She confirmed that her body was “a temple” and she would not destroy it.
Anna Watson confirmed that she had been tempted by steroid use several times. The agent tried to present steroids as something good.
It was noted that she would obtain a $75,000 per year fitness modeling contract, if she take steroids and get 50 pounds of muscles. This lady said that she talked to representatives of Elite Model Management in Paris. Elite is one of the most prestigious modeling networks. Such celebrated models, as Adriana Lima, Cindy Crawfors and Gisele Bundchen belong to Elite.
But Anna Watson has chosen to be better a cheerleader at the University than to be implicated in the glamorous world. Moreover, this lady refused to take steroids because this action wasn’t in harmony with her religious principles. this lady confirmed that she didn’t serve a modeling agent but the Lord. This lady added that she had been created as a nice creation. Anna Watson concluded that she would not break her moral and religious principles just to take photos. This lady made a decision not to destroy her health.
Some questions appear, reading these affirmations. Somebody can ask whether Elite Model Management looks for models who have the same appearance like competitive female bodybuilders. Or may be Anna Watson just desire to draw public’s attention by taking advantage of negative attitude to steroids?
It is said that if Anna Watson gets 50 pounds of muscles, she will be allowed to compete on national bodybuilding stage. But what is for contract of 75, 000 dollars per year? Athletes know that such sums of money are not received easily even in sports. But may such large sum of money be got from modeling agency? It is controversial.
Females that are involved in bodybuilding compete greatly to receive prize money. Females with muscular bodies are more likely to receive money from “schmoes” (males that have sexual fetish for muscular females) than from the most prestigious modeling agencies.

What did King Mo Lawal used actually?
King Mo Lawal admitted that he had administrated a dietary supplement which was tainted. As it turned out to be, that supplement contained 2 ingredients which were synthetic steroids. According to this fighter and his manager, intake of this product led to positive for Masteron.
King Mo Lawal noticed during an interview for MMA Hour that he had bought “S-Mass Lean Gainer” in a Max Muscle store in April, 2010. This supplement was manufactured by Steel Body Production.
But this is not the case, when steroid ingredients are not written. Synonyms of forbidden medications are written on the label of this product. In fact, these steroids were the subjects of several debates between anti-doping agencies and federal regulators since 2005. They are following: 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol and 4-Chloro-17a-Methyl-a-andro4-ene3, 17b-diol. These preparations are better known under the names: Superdrol and Promagnon.
As for Superdrol, it goes by methyldrostanolone, methasteron and 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol. So, methylated version of Masteron was defined in the urine sample of King Mo Lawal by a proper lab of the anti-doping agency.
Anabolic Resources, a pharmaceutical company, was the first that manufactured Superdrol as a dietary supplement. It was more than 5 years ago. This company was charged with elaborating of a new unapproved product. Later Anabolic Resources pleaded guilty and acknowledged that they had sold a synthetic steroid as a dietary supplement. As a result, this pharmaceutical company had to pay a fine of 500, 000 dollars.
As for Promagnon, it also initially appeared as a dietary supplement in 2005 by Peak Performance’ Labs. The government didn’t take any action against this company for producing and selling this steroid. But the company made a decision to stop manufacturing this steroid in 2006.
Although legal status of these two substances is controversial, many companies have produced and distributed them as dietary supplements during about 6 years. It goes without saying that persons that are involved in this industry know about the status of these supplements but they continue to sell them.
Mike Kogan, the manager for King Mo Lawal, says that the full responsibilities should be taken by the companies that market synthetic steroids as dietary supplements. This person believes that such companies misguide users intentionally.

Ryan Braun claims that he has become a victim of a false positive
However Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a ban for administration of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This sportsman didn’t admit to administration of prohibited products. This baseball player confirmed that he had become a victim of a false positive. Ryan Braun fights against the results which have been proclaimed.
However it has been lately discussed whether steroid users have right to be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they do not lose their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted consumers of steroids keep their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell claimed that Ryan Braun would be permitted to keep the MVP awards. Earlier other consumers of steroids were allowed also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these sportspersons admitted that they had used steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Ryan Braun had elevated level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has manifested about exogenous type of testosterone. Actually, this test can’t show real quantity of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was used by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was applied carbon isotope ratio testing that indicated about existence of exogenous testosterone.
Numerous sportswriters supposed that Ryan Braun should have left his MVP awards due to the positives for prohibited drugs. But this person made another decision. He decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false charges with usage of steroids. This player noticed that characters of individuals are revealed in such situations of adversary. He noted that he had a great respect to baseball. This player concluded that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with respect and appreciation to baseball.
It was said that Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball who didn’t need to administrate steroids to be capable to play. When Braun found out about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was very surprised. He mentioned that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to admit to administration of controlled substances.
Ryan Braun made a decision to fight against the results of his tests, claiming that unusual circumstances surrounded this situation. He mentioned that he would prove his innocence and false positives.

A young cyclist tested positive for more than 10 controlled substances
Intake of anabolic steroids and other medicines which enhance performance is widespread among amateur as well as professional sportspersons. It isn’t surprisingly, when sportspersons test positive for controlled drugs. But there are several unusual situations, when an individual tests positive for many banned products. Here is an example.
Alexandre Dougnier, a teenage amateur French cyclist tested positive for more than 10 banned products, including more than 5 steroid metabolites. It was at a race in France in May, 2011. He has been sentenced to 3-year ban from competitions.
It was determined that this young cyclist had taken such steroids, as Anavar, Dianabol and Winstrol. Other steroid metabolites which were discovered in his urine sample were following; 3-Hydroxystanozolol, 16b-Hydroxystanozolol, 4b-Hydroxystanozolol, Oxandrolone, epi-Oxandrolone, 6b-Hydroxymethandienone and 17-epi-Methandienone.
This young cyclist was a member of the Parisian Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt. Certain persons mention that Alexandre Dougnier might have been a follower of the club’s doper Jacques Anquetil. This person has been claimed to be a famous individual of cycling’s history. He was a member of the club de Boulogne-Billancourt in 1950s and 1960s. He was the first cyclist that had won the Tour de France 5 times. This person had obtained also 2 Olympic medals.
Jacques Anquetil used steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. Moreover, this cyclist defended doping during a TV debate with the French sports minister. He said that it was not possible to endure cold, heat waves and rain in mountains during cycling without doping. Jacques Anquetil confirmed that only a fool person would endure this agony related to the extreme sport of cycling without performance-enhancing drugs. This well-known cyclist noted that drug testing might deprive individual liberty. Jacques Anquetil said that everyone doped.
It is important to mention steroids were not so widespread among cyclists in 1950s and 1960s. Usage of more dangerous amphetamines was more widespread during those years. As for usage of anabolic steroids, it has become more enhanced during past 2 decades.
Let see which affirmations have been said about steroids, when other cyclists have been caught taking them. When the cyclist Floyd Landis was caught applying testosterone, it was claimed by his legal team that neither anabolic steroids, nor other performance-enhancing drugs were able to enhance performance in cyclists. As for the distributor of steroids Joseph Papp, he didn’t agree with this statement. He noted that intake of steroids was widespread in elite cycling. According to his words, any individual can use testosterone gels in a clever way without being caught by anti-doping programs: users of transdermal testosterone must take in consideration time of detection.
Alexandre Dougnier was not cautious and didn’t put efforts to avoid detection. He probably didn’t suppose that cyclists would be tested for forbidden drugs at the race in Aubervilliers.

Hopes of fans about a fight between Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal were not justified
Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t have good relations. They didn’t display their negative attitude to each other for several years. During an interview Lawal said about their relationships, noting that he doesn’t like Rampage Jackson who also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it isn’t surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson commented on the fact connected with Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson noticed that it was quite evident that Lawal had used steroids. He noted that King Mo Lawal wasn’t a true fighter. He applied steroids to be capable to compete.
Rampage Jackson noted that there were fighters that were permitted to administrate steroids. He referred to those who had to take steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This person noted that it was a substantial difference between goals. Fighters and other sportspeople are permitted to administrate steroids for TRT and not for enhancement of performance, according to this fighter.
This fighter notices that there are people who have some health troubles. They consult their doctors that prescribe steroids. They administrate these medicines to to escape from their diseases and to stay competitive. But he adds that there are fighters who administrate steroids in order to enhance their performance. It is too sadly, according to this mixed martial artist.
However, administration of steroids for testosterone replacement therapy by sportspersons is a quite controversial question.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson admitted that they had taken steroids because of hypogonadism.
So, Rampage is a fighter that claimed about permission to take steroids as a part of TRT by sportspeople. But there are other fighters who do not agree with this opinion. Some sportspersons have the same point of view as Michael Bisping has. They confirm that usage of steroids is just justified by therapeutic conditions. They proclaim that all fighters that apply anabolic steroids, claiming that they are on TRT, are liars.
Lawal confirms that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both Lawal and his manager say that they are actually surprised by the results of the test.
A fight between Jackson and Lawal was waiting by many fans. There were several rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the hopes of fans were not justified. Lawal should serve a ban.
