The UK and US have different laws. As for steroids use, it has been always legal in the United Kingdom.

The government has agreed with almost all new amendments of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs. Here we see the way of influences of the government on mentality of steroids consumers. The faculty chairman of the Royal General Practitioners finds that the changes connected with importation of anabolic steroids are effective ways in order to modify attitudes of users to anabolic steroids. He confirms that if the new law forbade anabolic steroids entirely, it could cause only opposition of users. According to the words of the faculty chairman of the Royal General Practitioners, it is an excellent way to have proper influences upon athletes who use anabolic steroids and to give them necessary information about connections between these products and their health. The new law can make consumers to care about their real purposes to do something for prevention of unwanted consequences related to administration of these products.
The government of the United Kingdom understands that these preparations can influence on persons’ health negatively that’s why it wants to adopt possible laws that can help consumers to see the reality.
But it is necessary to notice that the faculty chairman of the Royal General Practitioners, Dr. Lawson, had to see the all nuances connected with the new law. There is a risk that the new law will not benefit. One could ask: “Where is the risk?” Let analyze the situation which was earlier. Consumers could get anabolic steroids ,using internet. Importation of these drugs was legal. So, they purchased steroids of good quality.
According to the new law, sportsmen must not buy steroids per internet. How can they get these medications? There is another way of getting these medicines. But this way is not safe. As you know, there are underground labs which manufacture these medicines. Unluckily, they produce fake anabolic steroids. As a result of this new law, people will administrate fake steroids that may harm very much. Will this new law lead to good results?
