Jeffrey George was arrested for involvement in a chain of Florida clinics that sold analgesics

Jeffrey George is the founder of a former famous clinic connected with hormone replacement therapy. The clinic was named “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Jeffrew George was charged with illegal sales of anabolic steroids. As it was mentioned by investigators, he started todistribute controlled substances through his clinic illegally. But in fact Jeffrey George participated in illegal activity of pain clinics established in Florida. He sold steroids per internet.
George and his twin brother Chris were leaders of a pain clinic activity. They got 40 million dollars due to illegal sales of oxycodone and other analgesics during 2 years. This resulted in their several charges. Jeffrey George faced also a murder charge because a customer had died due to overdosing.
Jeffrey George hid his illegal activity through his clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Anabolic steroids were advertising on the internet and in different magazines connected with fitness as a part of therapy conducted by the clinic.
It was not the first arrest of George due to steroids. He was charged with possession of anabolic steroids , intending to sell them in 2003. This person was sentenced to eight-month imprisonment. Later this man was involved in illegal sales of anabolic steroids, intending to bypass Florida’s laws which allowed clinics to prescribe and sell steroids legally. This person didn’t have any medical education. But he founded the clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation” and employed some physicians that prescribed steroids without any fear. One of his employees was Daniel Hauser. This doctor got 5, 000 dollars per week for prescriptions of steroids for George’s clinic.
Since steroids were sold via internet and clients were far from the clinic, they had to perform certain tests in clinics that were located near to them. Then they filled results of tests in the certain blanks and sent to the “South Beach Rejuvenation” per internet. Hauser wrote them prescriptions.
A lot of sales consultants of the clinic applied anabolic steroids too. Furthermore, they got large amounts of steroids with prescriptions and sold them on the side. They also explained their clients how to apply and use together some steroids to reach better results in bodybuilding and sports.
Chris, George’s brother, helped his friend, Chris Hutson, financially to establish a clinic to sell steroids. Thus, “LA Health and Rejuvenation” was established.
Cynthia Cadet and Robert Meek were two physicians who were employed by Hutson to prescribe anabolic steroids. They received 1, 000 dollars weekly.
The persons who opened two clinics mentioned above and physicians hired by them were charged with illegal sales of anabolic steroids and prescriptions via internet.
