Yannick Noah faced sharp criticism after publishing his article about steroids in sports

Spanish sportsmen had sharp words for the French former tennis player, Yannick Noah. This person wrote an unbelievable article “La Potion Magique” which was published in the French newspaper “Le Monde”. The former tennis player from France notes in his work that sportspersons from Spain have several advantages and win competitions because they take anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. He claims that Spain has more loyal attitude to steroid use than France; that’s why sportspersons from Spain have more increased muscles and are successful in competitions.
Rafael Nadal, a well-known Spanish athlete, notes that Yannick Noah wrote completely stupid statements and comments in the article. He is surprised how Noah’s article was allowed to be published in the newspaper. Rafael Nadalwho won 10 Grand titles points out that Yannick Noah doesn’t write such things that are worthy to be published. According to the Spanish sportsman, statements of the former tennis player from France do not deserve being made public.
David Ferrer, a celebrated tennis player from Spain, confirms that Yannick Noah is an ignorant man. Ferrer can’t understand how a man like Noah who was a professional tennis player and knows the way sport works is able to write such things.
Tennis is not the only area of sports in which Spain had success. Spanish basketball players won the 2011 FIBA European Championships. Alberto Contador, a cyclist from Spain, won the 2010 Tour de France and the 2011 Giro d’Italia.
Josep Guardiola, a Spanish football director, point out that Yannick Noah must prove, if he points out that Spanish athletes apply steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs. But if he can’t prove it, he should not write about it.
French athletes support attitude of Spanish sportsmen towards Yannick Noah. They criticize him too. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, a celebrated French tennis player, David Douillet, the Sports minister of France, and Frederic Moncassin, the director of the cycling Team Type 1 belong also to that persons that do not agree with the statements of Noah.
