Justin Gatlin wanted to be hugged by a reporter in exchange of his admission linked with steroid use

Justin Gatlin is an American sprinter. This sportsman tested positive for anabolic steroids in 2006 and served a 4-year ban. It was defined that he had taken testosterone. Since his 4-year ban is over, this sprinter was waiting to be accepted back. But it seems that this sportsperson doesn’t know the laws related to the return to the world of sports. An athlete who has served a certain ban because of administration of performance-enhancing medications doesn’t return automatically. He\She must admit publicly that it was a great mistake; he\she must apologize “with tears in his\her eyes” that he\she has used performance-enhancing products.
But this American sportsperson wants to do things his way. He said that he had never used forbidden medications intentionally. this sportsperson confirmed that he had tested positive for steroids because a vindictive masseuse had used a testosterone cream during a massage. In fact this excuse was taken from a Lance Armstrong’s book. Justin Gatlin has not changed the Laurence’s explanation at all in more than 5 years.
Since this American sprinter didn’t admit administrating steroids publicly, sports reporters interviewed him many times. The American sprinter was asked whether he would admit taking forbidden medications. Once it has become clear that he had used prohibited drugs intentionally. It was during an interview made by a reporter of New York Times. Justin Gatlin said that he would admit using anabolic steroids intentionally in exchange for a hug! Can you imagine it? The New York Times reporter noticed that people would hug him more, if he admits. Nevertheless, Gatlin remained “invincible”, asking: “If I say it right now, are you gonna give me a hug?”
Since this American athlete has already the support of the USA Track and Field (USATF), it is supposed that this American sprinter will never admit administrating forbidden medications. It is unclear why he has got the support because Jill Greer, the spokesperson for the USATF, notices that USATF doesn’t support athletes who have ever administrated steroids intentionally. Such athletes must be ignored, according to USATF. The case related to Justin Gatlin shows that the statement of the spokesperson is not practically respected.
