Decisions of anti-doping agencies are not fair in certain cases. While certain persons violate anti-doping rules, the whole teams are suspended. Thus, persons who do not lie suffer together with liars. Can’t you find it unfair? Why must good athletes be kept from realizing of their hopes and dreams, if other individuals violate anti-doping rules?
The Waterloo football program was shut down for a year. It was because of results of an investigation. Everything started from a bust of a player that was caught having thousands of vials of anabolic steroids and HGH. This detection caused numerous investigations led in Canadian colleges. The investigations were conducted by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport.
One of investigations displayed eight positives of the Waterloo football players. The decision was to suspend the whole team for a year.
Unfortunately, innocent players of the Waterloo College were punished together with cheaters who used forbidden performance-enhancing products. The football players Matt Vonk and Steve Ples played at Laurier before the scandal linked with steroids and the suspension. These two players didn’t test positive for steroids. That’s why The football players Matt Vonk and Steve Ples hadn’t receive the suspension.
These two football players decided to transfer to another college to make their dreams related to football real. But these players received refusal. Thus, these football players will be kept from playing football the whole year.
