Jose Canseco began to have nightmares about steroids since writing the book “Juiced”

The former MLB player Jose Canseco has claimed that he experiences nightmares about steroids. He has stated that he has begun to have nightmares from the time of writing the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big”. The book reveled intake of steroids by some MLB players. The author has written on his Twitter account that nightmares linked with steroids hunt him since he wrote the book. Furthermore, he continues to have them till today. The former professional baseball player compares them with a demon who never sleeps.
Jose Canseco has called himself the “godfather of steroids in baseball”. The former professional baseball player noticed in his book about intake of steroids by several MLB players quite openly. This work has become a bestseller. ”The godfather of steroids in baseball” has noted names of the players who have utilized anabolic steroids. He confirmed that he had been pushed out of professional baseball because of his book.
The former professional baseball player identified such sportspeople, as Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriquez, Jason Giambi and Juan Gonzalez, claiming that they had applied steroids. He also mentioned names of Alex Rodriquez and Roger Clemens but he didn’t state that he had known about steroid use by these sportspeople directly.
The most famous name that has been reported by Jose Canseco in his work is the name of the former professional baseball player Mark McGwire who hit 70 homeruns. Jose Canseco wrote that McGwire had used Deca Durabolin and Winstrol, when they played with the Oakland A’s.
Canseco noted that he had injected Mark McGwire with steroids many times in the bathrooms and in other places. He noticed that he injected McGwire before their trainings or after them.
At the beginning nobody was inclined to believe that these affirmations were true. Mark McGwire denied usage of steroids. But later the accusations were proven. Finally Mark McGwire admitted that he had taken steroids and HGH. He admitted that Jose Canseco had described the truth.
McGwire admitted that he had applied prohibited medications and he had apologized about this aspect. He mentioned that he was using them during the 90s. Later McGwire has obtained possibility to play baseball professionally again. Mark McGwire was hired as a St. Louis Cardinals’ hitting instructor.
When it comes to Jose Canseco, he desires to obtain the second chance and to come back to the MLB. The “Tigres de Quintana Roo” have agreed to give the second chance. Jose Canseco hopes that this is his stop in direction to the MLB.
