Rampage Jackson talks openly about the effects which have been obtained by him due to steroid use

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, a mixed martial artist and actor, told about benefits of the steroid testosterone in the interview with Gary Alexander of “Fighters Only Magazine”. He told about his decision to take testosterone, about its effects on enhancement of muscle size, his bodyweight and his sexuality. He said these words after his fail at UFC 144 in Japan.
The UFC champion was openly telling about his decision to find a physician that could prescribe him testosterone replacement therapy. He noticed honestly because he thought that testosterone didn’t belong to anabolic steroids. Rampage Jackson noted that steroids were for muscles but testosterone was natural. Thus, he was mistaken, considering that testosterone isn’t an anabolic steroid.
In fact, application of testosterone replacement therapy in mixed martial arts is a controversial issue. Testosterone is administered legally in case of hypogonadism (reduced testosterone production). Thus, mixed martial artists who experience this illness may receive a therapeutic use exemption that permits to take the steroid testosterone legally.
But the problem that is widely discussed is whether the fighter who uses therapeutic dosage of testosterone can get unfair advantage during competitions.
The most of sportspersons who have received a therapeutic use exemption for application of testosterone for medical purposes deny getting any enhancement of performance because of testosterone replacement therapy.
As for Rampage Jackson, he admitted that testosterone replacement therapy had promoted enhancing his muscle size, speeded his recovery from his injuries and improved his sexual abilities. Jackson said that he had experienced a knee injury. After he had introduced three quantities of testosterone, the knee was healed. He gained bodyweight and muscle size. This mixed martial artist confirmed that small doses of the steroid testosterone had caused essential changes in him. His sexuality was improved significantly; he began to feel as if he had been only 25.
Rampage Jackson demonized steroids for his impossibility to lose weight to meet criteria of the 206lb weight class.
Jackson reports that he doesn’t break any law. He takes testosterone and confirms that it is legitimately.
